Card balances & top-ups
How per-card balances work, topping up an existing card, the top-up fee, and moving funds between cards.
Why does each card have its own balance?
Your Primcard wallet and your individual card balances are separate.
Funds held in your main wallet are not automatically available for card spending. Before using a card, you need to load the amount you want to spend onto that specific card.
If you have several cards, each card can only spend the balance that has been loaded onto it.
How do I top up an existing card?
Open the relevant card in your Primcard dashboard, enter the amount you want to add and select Top up.
The required amount is deducted from your Primcard wallet and the requested top-up amount is added to that specific card.
What is the card top-up fee?
The card top-up fee is 6% of the amount you load onto the card.
Is the 6% top-up fee deducted from what my card receives?
No.
The amount you enter is the amount your card receives. The 6% top-up fee is charged separately from your Primcard wallet.
If you top up an existing card with 100 USDT:
Card receives: 100 USDT Top-up fee: 6 USDT Total from wallet: 106 USDT
Your card therefore receives the full 100 USDT.
Can I withdraw unused card funds back to my wallet?
Where the function is available for your card, select Withdraw to wallet to return available card funds to your Primcard wallet.
Can I transfer funds directly between two cards?
No. Direct card-to-card transfers are not supported.
Where available, you can instead return funds from one card to your Primcard wallet and then use your wallet balance to fund another card.
