Is there a monthly card fee?
There is currently no standard monthly subscription fee for the Primcard virtual card.
Is there a fee every time I use my card?
Yes. A fixed $1.00 transaction fee applies to each successful card transaction.
Is there a fee for a declined transaction?
Yes. A $1.00 fee applies to a chargeable declined card transaction.
Why can I be charged when a transaction is declined?
A declined payment can still generate processing costs within the card network and underlying card programme even though the purchase itself was not completed.
What happens if my card doesn't have enough balance to cover a fee?
If a chargeable fee cannot be collected immediately because there is insufficient available balance, the amount may remain outstanding and be recovered when funds subsequently become available.
Why was my card transaction declined?
A card transaction can be declined for several reasons, including insufficient card balance, merchant restrictions, card status, transaction controls or other payment-processing requirements.
Remember that your main Primcard wallet balance is separate from your card balance. Having funds in your wallet does not mean the individual card has sufficient funds.
Where can I see all Primcard fees and conditions?
All applicable Primcard fees, card conditions and other important information are listed in the Primcard Terms & Conditions.
Relevant fees are also shown within Primcard before applicable actions are confirmed, such as when creating a new card or topping up a card.
